Role in the project

CTAB’s involvement in the TRANSFORMED project focuses on scaling successful agroforestry practices through knowledge-sharing, addressing socio-cultural barriers, evaluating economic and environmental impacts, and promoting supportive policies. We play an active role in developing knowledge-sharing strategies by creating dissemination materials such as learning videos and technical brochures, and organizing events to spread agroforestry innovations. Additionally, CTAB works to identify and overcome socio-cultural barriers that hinder agroforestry adoption. We contribute to evaluating the economic feasibility and environmental sustainability of agroforestry systems, ensuring long-term viability. CTAB also advocates for policy development, tailoring result-based models (RBM) to align with national contexts, thus enabling the effective adoption of agroforestry practices across the Mediterranean region.
